Virginia Smith

Virginia Smith, 76, of Green Camp died Friday, Sept. 5,1997, in Richwood after having been in failing health since February She was a beautician She was born June 1,1921, in Union County to the late LeRoy and Alona Seaman Harraman She married Rufus M. Smith July 26, 1946, in Marion and he died Sept. 27, 1993. She was also predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two sisters, Elma Wood of Richwood and Martha Jane Hay of Lockbourne; and several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Fred Cheney will officiate and burial will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday ; Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Marion General Hospital.
