| Alice Mae Jackson, 90, of Milcrest Nursing Home, formerly of Richwood
died Friday, July 25, 1997, at Memorial Hospital of Union County after a brief illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the York-McKendree United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Union Prayer Band. She was born Jan. 27, 1907, in Union County to the late Butler and Rebecca Cox Jackson. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. She is survived by two nieces, Esther and Florence Davidson of Marysville; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the York-McKendree United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bryan Meadows will officiate and burial will be at the York Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund. The Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood is in charge of arrangements.
