Julia Mae Fish
Julia Mae Fish, 98, formerly of Richwood, died Sunday, March 23,1997, at
Memorial Hospital of Union County after a brief illness.
She was a homemaker and retired teacher. She was a member of the Richwood
First United Methodist Church and the Richwood Civic Center Kitchen
Band and a former member of the Jackson Grange.
She was bora Sept. 26,1898, in Hardin County to the late Jesse and Elvira
Butcher Koons. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Humphreys
whom she married Nov. 8, 1922. She married Ernest Fish April 12.
1942, and he died June 14, 1985.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Wilbur R.Boyer will officiate and burial be
at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made.to the Richwood First United
Methodist Church memorial fund.
