Sandra Lee Allen Cooley
Sandra Lee Allen Cooley, 49, of Prospect died Monday, Sept. 8 1997 in
Grant Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident in Hardin County.
She was a barber stylist at Shear and Comb in Prospect and worked as a
scanner at Kable Fulfillment Corporation of America in Marion
She was born June 21, I948,.in Columbus to Robert and Mable Bell Allen
who survive. She is also survived by her husband, George I Cooley of
Prospect whom she married Dec. 24, 1987; two daughters, Donnis Marie
(Michael) Bowersmith of Richwood and Tamra Lavera (Larry) Parker of
Prospect: a stepdaughter, Katherine Kay Seitter of Marion; three stepsons
Vjilham Gwyn Cooley of the U.S. Army in Italy, George L Cooley Jr. of
Pueblo, Colo., and Michael Herbert Cooley of- the U.S. Navy in Corpus
Chnsti, Texas; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kay
Allen of Columbus and Bobbie Allen of Ironton; and a brother, Billy Settlemoir
of Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Gehm-Ballinger
Funeral Home in Prospect. The Rev. David L. Hoffman will officiate and
bunal will be at the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or
Children International. Cards will be available at the funeral home.'
