Robert Douglas Good
FlagRobert Douglas Good, 30, of Marion, formerly of Prospect, died June 6,
1997, at Marion General Hospital.
He was a paramedic and fireman and an employee of Marion General. A
four-year U.S. Navy veteran, he was a lieutenant on the Battle Run Fire Department
and was a member of the sons of the American Legion Squadron
368.He was born July 2, 1966.
He is survived by his father, Robert A. Good of Marion; his stepfather and
mother, Robert and Carol Middlemiss Birchfield; a son, Ryan Good; a
daughter, Kayla Good; two brothers, Jeff Good of Prospect and James Good
of Marion; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Good of Prospect; several cousins,
including Jon Blevins of Prospect; and a special friend, Pamela Jo Ruhl.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Prospect United
Methodist Church. The Rev. David L. Hoffman will officiate and burial will
be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the
Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in ProspecL
Memorial contributions may be made to the Battle Run Fire Department
and Emergency Squad. Cards will be available at the funeral home.
