 Helen Lamont Sieg, 90, of Richwood died Sunday, June 28, 1998, at the
Village at Westerville Nursing Center after a three-week illness. She was co-owner of Sieg's Drug Store in Richwood and a member of the Richwood First United Methodist Church, Mount Carmel Chapter 42 Order of the Eastern Star, Cheerio Circle of King's Daughters, Fortnightly Literary Club and the United Methodist Women. She was born May 16, 1908, in Richwood to the late Howard and Lillian Jewell Cahill. She married Thaddeus P. Sieg June 1, 1930, in BeUe Center and he died Nov. 3, 1963. She is survived by two daughters, Janet A. Sieg of Richwood and Kathryn (Robert) Heinzerling of Columbus; a son, Thad H. "Ted" Sieg of Richwood; and three grandchildren, Linda Heinzerling, Bob (Mary) Heinzerling and Karen Heinzerling and her fiance, Vincent Fu, of Columbus. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ballinger Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heinzerling Foundation, 1800 Heinzerling Drive, Columbus, Ohio, 43223 or the Richwood First United Methodist Church memorial fund.
