Robert C. Blue
FlagRobert C. Blue, 68, of Broadway died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Riverside
Methodist Hospital after an extended illness.
He was a retired meat cutter and a horse trainer in the Richwood area for a
number of years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Richwood and was predeceased by his mother,
Pauline Ridgeway and his stepfather, Harold Grandstaff.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Decker Blue whom he married June
19, 1953, in Broadway; two sons, Randel (Shelby) Blue of Newark and
Robert H. Blue of West Mansfield; a daughter, Pamela Sue (Robert J. Jr.)
Hamilton of Marysville; 1 1 grandchildren; six areat-grandchildren; and a sister,
Shemll (Ed) Eubanks of Reynoldsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be
at the Broadway Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital in care of the
funeral home.
