Clyde Lester
Clyde Lester 76, of marion died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999 at mt. Carmel west hospital in Columbus after a short illness.
A retired machine operator from Tecumseh, he was born June 28, 1923 in Scioto County and was the son of Charles and Lora Greene Lester.  They preceded him in death.
He was twice married. On Oct. 21, 1943 he married Evelyn M. Adkins in
wyandot County. She preceded him in death in 1987
He is survived by his wife, the former Hazel Montgomery, whom he married
on July 3, 1989 in Scioto County.
He was a member of the Wagram Valley United Baptist Church for more
than 30 years.
Other survivors include four daughters, Donna (Ronald) Cochran of
Prospect, Shelba (William) Childers of Ashley, Betty (Thomas) Wooten of
Frospect and Doris (David) McCarty of Marysville; a sister, Bonnie Collins
or Jackson, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, Lisa, Chuck, Keith, Sherry, Matthew
Uayton, Laura, Amanda, Wesley, Amy, Teresa, Sarah, Joshua, Megan and
Jeremy; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Lester; a grandson, Kenny Ray
Lester; three brothers, Thomas, Walter and Arnold; and a sister, Edith Green
Funeral services will be held Monday, 10 a.m., at the Ballin^er Funeral
Home in Richwood.
Elder Chester Adkins and elder Doug Lewis will officiate and burial will
be m the Price Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m.
