 Martha T. Parrott, 88, of Glendale, Ariz., died Monday, Sept 27 1999 at
Hospice of the Valley in Glendale. She was a teacher at the Richwood and Byhalia Local Schools and retired as a librarian at Harding High School. She was a member of the First Presbytenan Church in Marion and Mount Carmel Chapter 42 Order of the Eastern Star. She was bom Sept. 25, 1911, in Essex to the late Emery and Ada Davis Taylor and was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Householder. She married Chester W. Parrott April 21, 1935, and he died Nov. 10, 1987. She is survived by a son, James Parrott of Sun City, Ariz.; a daughter. Patricia Eby of Incline Village, Nev.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildrentwo sisters, Ellen Tossey of Antioch, HI., and Marilyn Shanks of Sandy Springs, Md.; and two brothers, Bob Taylor of Rock Ledge, Fla , and Bill Taylor of Richwood. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Claibourne Cemetery. The Rev. S.A. Anderson will officiate. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley 5555 W Thunderbird Road, Glendale, Ariz., 85306, or the American Cancer Society 253 E. Church St., Marion, Ohio 43302.
