John Ray Diehl

John Ray Diehl, 93, of Prospect died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at Union Manor Nursing Center after having been in failing health for several years. He was a contractor and a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Delaware. He was bom Oct. 29,1905, in Ross County to the late Cromwell and Cora Brown Diehl and was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Diehl. He married Dorothy Dunnan Oct. 16, 1926, in Marysville and she died March 15, 1991. He is survived by two sisters, Janice Williams and Ellen Kramer of Columbus; and two sisters-in-law, Martha Sweeney of Richwood and Ila Robinson of Radnor. Funeral sendees will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Maskill Cemetery. Billy Smith will officiate and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.
