Jerry N. Kater

Richwood area resident, Jerry N. Kater, 41, died unexpectedly at Memorial Hospital of Union County. The farmer was a part time Honda of America Manufacturing employee and a pilot. . He was born April 24, 1957, a son of the late Kenneth N. and Verla Holbrook Kater. ' Surviving are three sisters, Karolyn Frasure of Marion, Bonnie Newland of Ostrander, and Ruby Robinson of Milford Center; four brothers Bryce of Worthington, John of Newark, Michael of Columbus and Roland of Richwood. The Rev. David Wilson conducted funeral services Monday, Feb. 15 at Ballinger Funeral Home. Burial was at Price Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Humane Society or Wildlife Preservation.
