William A. Miller
FlagWilliam A. Miller, 77, of Prospect died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, at Marion
General Hospital after having been ill since January.
A 44-year-old resident of prospect, he was a machinist for Marion Power
Shovel and 20 years and retried from the Federal Milk Market Administration after 25 years.  He was a World War II Navy veteran who served on the U. S. S. Birmingham and was a member of American Legion post 368 and the Prospect United methodist Church.  He enjoyed fishing and working in his woodworking shop.
He was born July 11, 1922, in Ashley to the late William and Florence
Schillinger Miller and was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers
He is survived by his wife, Jane L. Fisher Miller whom he married Jan 12
1944, m East Liberty; three daughters, Linda Miller of Columbus, Jeannie
(Mike) James of Marion and Sheryl Ann (Norman) Sharp of Mount Gilead*
four grandchildren, Bryan James of Cardington, Kevin James of Perrysville
Shawn Sharp and Seirra A. Sharp of Mount Gilead; a great-granddaughter
Kaitlm James of Perrysviile; a brother, Richard Birchfield of Delaware- and
two sisters, Mary A. Martin of Marengo and Patricia A. Cox of Delaware
Funeral services will be held at 1 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Prospect United
Methodist Church. The Rev. David L. Hoffman will officiate and burial will
be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral
Home in Prospect from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund, 203 N
Elm St., Prospect, Ohio 43342, or the Heinzerling Development Center
1755 Heinzerling Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43223.
