William Walter Morrison
FlagWilliam Walter Morrison, 95, of Richwood died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000,
at Milcrest Nursing Center.
He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of First
Baptist Church and a lover of his family and Clydesdale horses.
He was born Sept. 24,1905, in Delaware County to the late Edmon W. and
Elizabeth E. Jones Morrison and was predeceased by five brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his wife, Mary K. Bennett Morrison whom he married
Oct. 10, 1935, in Richwood; a son, John W. (Noel) Morrison of St. Paul,
Minn.; three daughters, Rebecca Jane (Paul) Diedrich of Richwood, Beth'
Ellen (Marvin) Carbonncau of Champagne, 111., and Molly Charles of Sidney;
12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Ellen Elizabeth Spain
of California.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church
in Richwood. The Rev. Barb Stevens will officiate and buriaj will be afthe
Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the
Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.
Memorial contributions-may be made to Transitional House for the Mentally
H1-/723 S. Walnut St., Marysville.
