Denvil Leon Collins
Denvil Leon Collins, 84, of Richwood died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at
Heartland of Marysvilie.
He was a retired farmer and driver, working for Parrot Implement. He was
a member of the Union Baptist Church and the Board of Bible Memory
Association, St Louis, Mo.
He was bom July 3, 1916 in Portsmouth to Harry and Viola Dickerson
Collins who predeceased him in death. Also predeceased are a sister and a

He is also survived by a son, Gary (Nancy) Collins of Richwood; three
daughters, Reva (James) Munro of Clearwater, FL, Linda (Cecil) Martin of
Toledo, and Karen (Richard) Shaffer of Findlay; two brothers, Amil Collins
of Richwood and Paul Collins of Ogden, UL; two sisters, Madlyn Sawyer or
Marion and Ruth Chipman of New York; as well as 10 grandchildren and
nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Dr. James Munro will officiate and burial will follow
at the Price Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday two hours prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood EMS. Cards are
available at the funeral home.
