| Frieda Lodell Liggett, 89, formerly of Magnetic Springs, died Friday, July
21,2000, at Green Hills Nursing Center in West Liberty after an extended illness. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and was considered by many to be their best friend. She was bom June 4, 1911, in Union County to the late George and Allie Mae Cary Hickok and was predeceased by a sister. She married Owen Wayne Liggett April 25, 1935, and he died Oct. 14, 1980. She is survived by three daughters, Connie Forsythe of North Lewisburg and Judy Coons-and Carola Munz of Bellefontaine; a son, Gary Liggett of Marysville; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and greatgreat- grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Hickok of Mount Gilead. William Hickok of Marion and Raymond Hickok of Marysville. Funeral services were held today at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood and burial was at the Claibourne Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in care of the funeral home.
