Emma Neil Stout
Emma Neil Stout, 69, of Spencerville died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at St.
Rita's Medical center in Lima after a nine-month illness.
She was retired as secretary, to the treasurer of the North Union schools and
was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Richwood.
She was born Feb. 4, 1931, in Marysville to the late William and Catherine
Dunham Lucas and was predeceased by two sisters. She married Jack E.
Stout Feb. 18, 1951, in Richwood and he died July 17,1973.
She is survived by two sons, David (Peggy) Stout of Santa Clarita, Calif.,
and Jack (Hope) Stout of Mechanicsburg; two daughters, Ann (James) Kuhn
of Spencerville and Mary Kay (Jeff) LaPointe of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren,
Micah Stout of Santa Clarita, Gabe and Megan Stout of Mechanicsburg
and Mallory and Katlin Kuhn of Spencerville; seven sisters, Mary
Dearwester, Kay Taylor, Donna Wilkins and Sharon Deardorif of Bellefontaine,
Florence Curtis of Toledo, Shirley Sargent of Grants Pass, Ore., and
JoAnn Liles of Belle Center.; and a brother, William Lucas of Florida. '
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ballinger. Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Winnie Bateson will officiate and burial will
be at the Claiboume Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association
in care of the funeral home.
