| Giles Franklin McDaniel, 86, formerly of Richwood, died Sunday, April 9,
2000," at Willow Brook Christian Village of Delaware after a short illness.'' Hewas a^farmer and a member of the Richwood First'Baptist Church. He:was born May 20, 19.13, in Richwood to .the late Franklin K. and Iva Mae Harper McDaniel and was predeceased by a brother, Granville McDaniel and a granddaughter, Kristi Bruce. He is survived by his wife, Cuma Williams McDaniel whom he married Nov. 27, 1937, in Delaware; a son, Roger (Judith) McDaniel of Beaver Creek; two daughters, Marsha Rizor of Prospect and Barbara (Thomas) Bruce of Granville: two granddaughters, Wendy (Erik) Christensen and Brooke Rizor; four grandsons, Ryan McDaniel, Brett Rizor, Jarred Bruce and Mark Bruce; a great-granddaughter, Allison Christensen; and a sister, JoEllen Baggett of Tucson, Ariz. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ballinger Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Christy will officiate and burial will be at Price Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the scholarship fund of the Richwood First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
