Louise G. Sloop
EasternStarLouise G. Sloop, 84, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at
Community Healthcare Center. The Richwood resident owned and
operated Louise's Uenuty Shop. Sha wna a member of Richwood
First Baptist Church and Mt. Carmel Chapter #42 OES.
Born December 17, 1915, in Huntsville, she was a daughter of
James and Hcssio Paige Willoby. Her husband .William Sloop,
whom she married October 1, 1940, preceded her in death April
11, 1984. Surviving arc a daughter, Willa (Dave) Amatutz; a son, Jerry
(Josephine) Sloop, both of Richwood; four grandchildren; a brother,
Horace Willoby of Florida; and two sisters, Helen Kennedy and Ethel Dysert, both of Huntsville. Two brothers, Merrill Willoby
and Lloyd Willoby, arc deceased.
The Rev. Barb Stevens conducted funeral services Tuesday,
March 7, 2000, at Bnllingcr Funeral Home. Interment was nt
Claibourne Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood First
Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
