| Jennie F. "Sally" Penry, 69, formerly of Prospect, died Tuesday, Nov. 6,
2001, at Marion General hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Prospect American Legion and Prospect Senior Citizens. She was born Aug. 1, 1932, in Marion to the late Charles and Jennie Marshall Conners and was predeceased by three brothers and three grandchildren. She married Edwin D. Mayse Aug. 2,1948, and he died April 16,1984. She then married Paul Penry Dec. 26, 1976, and he died May 12, 1991. She is survived by daughters, Beverly (Jerry) Carr, Jenny (Roger) Boggs and Jill (Jim) Wilson of Marion; sons, Edwin (Sue) Mayse, Randy (Jackie)' Mayse and Millard "Brad" Mayse of Marion; sisters, Esther Long, Mary Starcher and Delia McCloud of Marion and Carol; brothers, Richard Conners of Waldo, Jim Smith and David Smith; 27 grandchildren; and 35 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect. The Rev. Dave Cottrell will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery.
