Lucille A. Haines
Lucille A. Haines, 96, of The Shores at Wesley Manor in Ocean City, N J.,
formerly of Byhalia and Sarasota Springs, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 18,2001.
She was arhomemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church
in Marion and was formerly a member of the Byhalia Methodist Church.
; She was bom June 11,1905; in Mount Victory to the late John and Vertie
Scheltzer Jones and was predeceased by a son, Max Allen Haines; a brother;
and a sister. She married Chandos Alan Haines in 1925 and he died in August
1982.
She is survived by a son, Richard L. (Carolyn) Haines of Bradenton, Fla.;
a daughter, Marilyn Haines (Frank) Sylvester of Plymouth Meeting, Pa.; six
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p jn. Friday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be
at the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 ajn. to 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church,
248 Olney Ave., Marion, Ohio 43302. Cards will be available at the funeral
home.
