Ronda Lou Kavanagh
Ronda Lou KavanaghBird Gold FinchRonda Lou Kavanagh, 58, of Byhalia died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at Riverside
Methodist Hospital where she had been ill for 10 days.
She was employed at the Honda of America East Liberty plant and her previous
employments included Scotts, the Plaza Inn in Mount Victory and the
Richwood Public Library. She was a member of the former Byhalia United
Methodist Church. She was a 1961 graduate of Byhalia-York High School
and enjoyed being outside and taking care of her flowers and yard during the
long summer days. She enjoyed traveling and dining out and her closeness
with her family brought her joy through the years. She was a loving, caring
and kind-hearted person who brought joy to every life she touched.
She was born March 21, 1943, in Union County to Burton A. and Helen
M. Kinikin Haines and was predeceased by her father in 1973 and a brother,
Rodney Haines in 1998.
She is survived by her mother, Helen, of Byhalia; a daughter, Gina (Greg)
Ballinger of Richwood; a granddaughter, Avery Ballinger; a niece, Tonya
(Rich) Vance of Plain City; great-nieces, Morgan and Madison Vance; many
friends; and her poodle, Skippy.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ballinger Funeral
in Richwood. The Rev. Joe Rhea will officiate and burial will be at the
Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Humane Society,
16540 County Home Road, Marysville. Cards are available at the funeral
home.
