| Judson C. Russell, formerly of Richwood, passed awny
Saturday, Jan. 27. '2001, at Marion Manor, where he has been a resident for .the last two year. He was employed at Huber . Manufacturing Company until his retirement svhen Hubcr left Marion. The Delaware County native wns born December 15. 1910, a son of the late Albert L. and Maude (Dolan) Russell. He was never married and made a home for his aunt, Mary Russell, for many years prior to her death. . He was n long-time active member of the Richwood. First Baptist Church where he had served as Deacon, Board Member und Head Usher for many years. The church was the love of his life and he read the Bible daily and from cover to cover every year. Surviving are a brother, Robert Russell of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Louise (Gene) McDaniel of Clute,.Texas and Freda Kyle of Richwood, who was his caretaker and friend. Also surviving nrc .several nieces nnd nephews and enjoyed neighborhood children and church youth, all of whom he loved. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donley "Sam" Russell, William N. (Rachel) Russell and a sister, Nellie (Paul) Brady. Pastor Barb Stevens conducted funeral services Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, at Ballingcr Funeral Home. Burial was at ClaibourneCemetery.
