Maggie Marie Belcher Dillon, 65, of Marion died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002,
at Marion Manor after a three-month illness.
She was a homemaker and attended the Prospect Street United Methodist
Church in Marion.
She was born Oct. 10, 1937, in Greenup County, Ky., to the late Charlie
and Eliza Stevens Burton and was predeceased by a daughter, Shannon and
two brothers. She married James A. Belcher Oct. 29, 1954, and he died
May 8, 1979.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Dillon II of Columbus whom she
married Aug. 14, 2000; four sons, James (Angela) Belcher Jr. of
Chattanooga, Tenn., and Danny Belcher, Brian (Marlene) Belcher and Shawn
Belcher of Marion; five daughters, Patricia (Jeff) Evans of Richwood,
Sherry (Bill) Day and Sandra (Roy) Hood of Marion, Rebecca Lynn Jude of
Portsmouth and Jami (Dale) DeWitt of Spring Hill, Fla.; 19
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ida Bernice Brown
of Marion and Ella May Branson; and two brothers, Don (Ruby) Burton of
Troy and Charles Burton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ballinger
Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. William Houck will officiate and
burial will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Quality of Life Hospice, 1000
McKinley Park Drive, Marion, Ohio 43302.
