Noel Robert Allen
Masonry Noel Robert Allen, 68, of Richwood, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at his
home.
He was a retired senior lab technician and was a 1951 graduate of North
Union High School and a 1958 graduate of Ohio University. He was a
member of the Richwood First United Methodist Church, the Mount Carmel
#303 F&AM and the Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus.
Known as Pops or Grand-pops he was well loved by his family even though
he was known to tease. He loved visiting and spending time with his
family. He always replied with "I'm perfect" when asked how he was and
always made his family smile.
He was born Dec. 13, 1933, in Richwood  to Robert F. and Mildred Lavina
Fenstermacher Allen. He was predeceased by his mother and a daughter,
Maxine Lavina Allen.
He is survived by his father, two sons, Major Robert C. (Deana) Allen of
Charlotte, N.C. and Ethan H. (Kelli) Allen of Belle Center, two
daughters, JoAnne (Rolando) Aburto and Angela (Brian) Henry, both of
Bellefontaine. Also surviving are two sisters, Polly Jo (Robert) Green
of Frankfort, Ky., and Sally Ann (Edward ) Robe of Athens, as well as
grandchildren, Rowena, Romayra and Joshua Aburto, Danielle and Kristen
Allen, Damian, Benjamin and Reina Moore, Taylor Henry, Mark Stanley and
Stacey Leugers.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will
follow at Price Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
