Maxine Lois Hildreth, 74, of Richwood died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at
Marion General Hospital. She was a homemaker. She was born April 6, 1927, in Peoria to the late Mack R. and Zena Elliott Mitchell and was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her husband, John Hildreth whom she married June 30, 1945, in Richwood; three sons, Gary Dale Hildreth of Marion, Kenneth (Gloria) Hildreth of Marion and Danny T. Hildreth of Richwood; a daughter, Peggy (Gary) Wurtsbaugh of Richwood; six grandchildren, Amanda Wurtsbaugh, Kenneth Hildreth Jr., Beulah VonDach, Bryan K. Hildreth, Brandon M. Hildreth and Brandy N. Hildreth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Ray Mullins will officiate and burial will be at the Broadway Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
