Nina P. Wood, 91, of Lancaster, formerly of Prospect, died Wednesday,
Dec. 11, 2002, at the Fairfield Medical Center. She worked at BF Goodrich in Green Camp and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prospect and the Prospect Senior Citizens. She was born Oct. 2, 1911, in Gallipolis to the late Elias W. and Luemma Evans Shappard and was predeceased by six brothers and a grandchild. She married Raymond W. Wood Aug. 28, 1934, and he died Aug. 26, 1969. She is survived by a son, Ronald A. (Linda) Wood of Naples, Fla.; two daughters, Marilyn L. (Paul) Messner of Lancaster and Diana W. (Max) Coltrane of Colfax, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect. The Rev. Stephen S. Bull will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 200 E.
