Donna Jean Ruhl, 79, of West Mansfield died Wednesday, Aug.13, 2003, at Memorial Hospital of Union County in Marysville. A retired loan officer with the Union Banking Co. in West Mansfield, she was a faithful member of McKendree United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She was born Oct. 26, 1923, in West Mansfield to the late Dale H. and Marietta Spangler Staley. On Sept. 18, 1976, she was married to Gerald Ruhl. She was preceded in death by a great-nephew. Survivors include her husband; a brother, Walter (Frances) Staley of West Mansfield; step-daughter, Peggy (Gary) Arms of Delaware; step-grandchildren, Michael Arms and William Arms of Delaware and Terry Arms of Marysville; two nieces, Cheryl Cooley and Sharon (Bill) Kelley of Marysville; a nephew, Merrill (Bev) Staley of West Mansfield; five step-grandchildren; eight great-nieces and nephews and four great-great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood with the Rev. A. Richard Teller officiating. Burial will be in the York Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to the church or a cancer fund. Cards are available at the funeral home.
