Bernice Louise Shroyer, 92, of Richwood died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at
Riverside Methodist Hospital. She and her husband moved to a farm outside of Richwood in 1944. For many years, she was employed by R&M Shop in Springfield. She was born May 19, 1911, in Jackson County to the late William and Margaret Morgan Reece. On July 18, 1935, she married Herbert W. Shroyer, who died January, 1978. Also preceding her in death were six brothers, Evart, Harry, Evan, Edgar, Pearl and Howard Reece; and a sister, Mildred Jackson. Suvivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ballinger Funeral Home followed by graveside services at 3:30 p.m. in the Horeb Cemetery at Oak Hill. The Rev. Maurice Dunn will be officiating. Friends may call today at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. This is archival information that was taken from (perhaps old) paper documents.
