Earl E. Temple, 83, of Richwood died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at
Community Healthcare Center in Marion. He was retired from the former Marion Metal Products, now Sycon Corp., after 38 years and was a member of the Marion Eagles Lodge. He was born Dec. 6, 1919, in Radnor to the late William and Lucy Hunter Temple and was predeceased by a son, Carl Humphreys and four brothers. He married Betty M. Barker Dec. 10, 1949, in Greenup, Ky., and she died Aug. 20, 1998. He is survived by two sons, Larry Wayne (Donna) Temple of Richwood and Michael David Temple of Prospect; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery.
