Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Barron, 69, of Marion died Thursday, Jan. 16,
2003, at Marion General Hospital. She was a homemaker and foster parent who loved children and animals. She was a member of the Richwood First Baptist Church. She was born Dec. 1, 1933, in Chesterville to the late Floyd Stephen and Viola May White Frazier and was predeceased by a brother and two half-sisters. She married Raymond Barron Sept. 2, 1956, and he died in 1992. She is survived by two sons, Michael Allen Barron of Marion and James Ray Barron of Roanoke, Va.; a brother, Floyd Stephen Frazier II; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Barb Stevens will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2225 City Gate Drive, Suite E, Columbus, Ohio 43219.
