Mary Ann Shirea

Shirea Mrs. Mary Ann, 83 180 River St., LaRue The lifelong resident of LaRue died Tuesday at 7:25 p.m. in the Colonial Manor Nursing Home at Fulton. She was born  April 2, 1889 in LaRue to John  T. and Artensa 0. McKee Lamb. In 1906 she was married to John M. Shirea and he died in 1963. Surviving are two sons, John S. "Tim" of Morral and Charles N. of LaRue; one daughter, Mrs. Norman (Mary Evelyn) Showers of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Carl Lamb of Michigan; and two sisters, Mrs. Rhea Emptage of LaRue and Mrs. Lou Tannyhill of Marion. A son, Harry, two brothers and a sister are dead. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Stofcheck-Ford Funeral Home at LaRue with the Rev. Vidya Rampal officiating. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery.
