Ray Spracklen, 83, retired farmer of Kiwanis Village in LaRue, died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday Dec 6, 1975 in San Antonio Nursing Facility at Kenton.
Originally from Dudley Township, Hardin County, he was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church. He married Lena Scranton who died in 1966. The following year, he married Mabel Stout who preceded him in death in 1971. Surviving are 2 sons, James R. of Kenton and Richard E. of LaRue; a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Doris) James of LaRue; 9 grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren. Services will be heldat 2 p.m. Tuesday in Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight. The Rev. James Duvall will officiate.
