Noah David, 74 1099 Agosta-Northern Road New Bloomington He died March 22, 1974 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Marion at" 12:25 a.m. today. He had been in failing health 3V2 years. He was born in Big Island Township Nov. 12, 1899, to Frank and Emma (Schlecht) Schaber. He was married to Rae Hoch-Sept. 9, 1922. She survives. He was a reitred farmer and belonged to the New Bloomington United Methodist Church. About 1950 he was president of the New Bloomington school board, and had been active in the Marion County Farm Bureau. Also surviving are three sons, Paul H., Howard LeRoy and Wayne B., all of New Bloomington; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandsons; two brothers, Charles of Marion and Carl of New Bloomington; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Drake and Mrs. E. L. Zachman, both of Marion. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue by the Rev. Frederick W. Haley and the Rev. Vidya Rampallo with burial in LaRue Cemetery.
