RICHWOOD — Mrs. Edythe M. Lavender, 68, of Magnetic; Springs, died in Marion General Hospital at 10:40 p.m. Friday Jan 18, 1974 following an eight day illness.
She was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, and of United Methodisi Women in Magnetic Springs.
Her husband, Dewey Lavender whom she married May 12, 1972, in Pharisburg, survives.
Born in Waldo, the former
Edythe Mitton was first married to Elza Gabriel, in September 1923. He died in 1967, Surviving in addition to the widower are a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. (Phyllis) Coffman of Muskingum, Midh.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Esther) Evans of RR 3, Rich-wood; a stepson, Kenneth M. Gabriel of Tucson, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, and 17 greatgrandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Stofcheck Funeral
Home, Richwood, the Rev.
Donald Shaver officiating.
Burial will be in the Prospect
Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and night.
