Odd Vernes Sessler
He died Oct 16, 1973 at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Marion General Hospital after a two-week illness.
He was formerly employed at the Tile Mill in LaRue.
He was born March 5,1894, in Fayette County to James and Rosa (Jones) Sessler.
He was married to Iva Lucille Bilger Dec. 30,1914, in Marion.
She survives, along with 12 children, Otho of Marion, Lloyd James of LaRue, Mrs. Rita Walter of Marion, Lowell of Elyria, Donna Adams of Prospect, Mrs. Evelyn Runkle and Mrs. Alfreda Parthemore, both of California, Mrs. Betty Reebel of Lockbourne, Mrs. Roma Sanford and Mrs. Shirley Sanford, both of New Haven, Conn., Richard V. of LaRue, Kenneth A. of Danville, N.Y.; 50 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren; a brother Clarence and a sister, Lillian Hall, both of Marion.
A daughter Wanda Jean and a sister are deceased.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue by the Rev. James Mason, with burial in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 tonight and Thursday afternoon and evening.
