He died July 6, 1973.8 p.m. Friday at his home of a self inflicted gunshot wound.
He was born Dec. 24, 1933 in Iberia to Clyde and Lucille Davis Doles. His mother survives at Chillicothe. On July 3, 1958 he was married to Sharrol Ann Cunningham and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters at home, Pamela Kay and Deborah Sue, a stepson Jesse Eugene Sipes of Crestline, a stepdaughter Mrs. Vicky Lee Pierce of Cardington, two step grandchildren, two brothers Clyde, Jr., of Chillicothe and George of Michigan, three sisters Mrs. Betty Longhorn of Iberia, Mrs. Rosa January of Marion, and Patricia Doles of Mt. Gilead. A daughter Tina Marie preceded him. He was a Korean war veteran and was employed by the Ridg-way Hatchery of LaRue. He Jived in the area about a year and a half after moving from Toledo. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. The Rev. Vid-ya Rampal will officiate. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 Sunday.
