Dec 31, 1986-Services for Walter Sanderson Sr. will be 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Stofcheck Funeral, Home, Richwood, by the Rev. Elaine Clinger, with burial in Broadway Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today, and anytime Saturday afternoon and evening. He was born July 26, 1898, in Broadway, to John H. and Ida C. (Hisey) Sanderson. On July 25, 1922, he married Flora Riley and she died July 10, 1974. Surviving are three sons, Walter Jr., of Marysville, Richard of Caledonia and Robert Lee of Kenton; three daughters, Dorothy Maxine Hopkins of Lima, Joann Harrington and Marilyn I. Beckley, both of Marysville; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters. He was retired from Marion Power Shovel Company.
