Services for Thelma Boblenz will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, by the Rev. Mark W. Rowland. Burial will be in Agosta Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday and Sunday evening. She died at 11:48 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 1986, at Marion General Hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1903, in DeCliff to William and Martha (Parker) Wood. She married Frederick William Boblenz on Oct. 20, 1923, and he died May 30,1964. Surviving are five sons, William A. of Beaverdam, Robert E. of New, Bloomington, James N. of Winchester, Ky., John E. of Marion, and Jerald L. of Orange Park, Fla.; three daughters, Jeanne Roberts of Ontario, Oregon, Violet H. Rail of Los Gatos, Calif., and Mary F. Henry of Marion; 25 grandchildren; 31 greatgrandchildren; and 12 great-greatgrandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters are deceased, j She attended the New Bloomington United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in New Bloomington, and the Goodwill Ladies Aid.
