Marian Faye James

Marian Faye James, 72, 5041 DeCliff-Big Island Road, died Friday evening July 17, 1987 in Americare Center. She was born in Big Island Township, Dec. 15, 1914, a daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Wood Schreck. The homemaker married Maurice E. James on Aug. 27, 1938, and he survives. Mrs. James also is survived by a son, Gary H. James, Big Island; a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Jean) Morris, Mount Gilead; and four grandchildren. A sister preceded her in death. The service will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRile, with the Rev. Edward K. Vance officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from noon until time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
