LeRoy Eugene Tanner
RICHWOOD —  LeRoy Eugene Tanner, 95, 26857 Farrider Road, Richwood, died Friday morning July 10, 1987 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born Aug.  30, 1891, in
Richwood, the son of Harvey S. and Almeda Lloyd Tanner.
Mr. Tanner first married the former Eva Jane Potts, and she died in 1952. He married the former Georgie Brady Kheune July l5, 1954, and she survives.
He worked at Marion Power Shovel Co. for 44 years and was a member of the firm's 25 Year Club and Somerville Friend Church.
Also surviving are four sons, Clifford and Harvey Tanner, Richwood, and Ray and Louis Tanner, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Helen) May, Richwood; five stepsons, Calvin Brady, Tucson, Ariz., Richard Brady. Mount Clemens, Mich., Ralph Brady, Prospect, Don Brady, Richwood, and Lloyd Brady;  Springfield; a stepdaughter, Mrs. George (Betty) Shuler, Burlington, Ky.; 44 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. A sister is deceased.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sofcheck Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Earl Cosand officiating. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery.
