RICHWOOD — Laura A. Ledley Longshore, 82 , 235 Grove St., died at Marion General Hospital Monday morning May 4, 1987.
She was born in Thompson Township, Delaware County, April 26, 1905, a daughter of William and Arbelle Lockwood Vanest. She attended Community United Calvary Church and was a member of Richwood Senior Citizens and its band. On Feb. 1, 1921, she married Jasper Ledley, and he died Sept. 12, 1975. She married Carl Longshore April 22, 1985. He died May 10,1985. Mrs. Longshore is survived by a son, Dale Ledley, New Hampshire, Ohio; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A daughter, a brother and a sister preceded her in death. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Cheney officiating. Burial will follow in Shoup Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. and in the evening Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Community United Calvary Church or the American Heart Association.
