Henry M. Hardin
Henry M. Hardin, 68, 1772 Marion-Hardin Road, LaRue, died Monday evening OCT 3,1988 at his residence.
He was born April 2, 1920, a son of he late Grover Hardin, and Viola Butler Hardin, who survives in LaRue.
A self-employed carpenter, he was also involved in motorcycling and was a mechanic for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He was a member of he Marion Area Harley Riders Association, ABATE Motorcycle Association, International Indian Four Club and National Rifle association and was a captain with he American Sternwheelers Association.
Mr. Hardin served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in England during Vorld War II. He was of Methodist aith and a former member of LaRue Jnited Methodist Church.
Jan. 25, 1947, in England, he mar-ried Iris Tucker, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael J. Hardin, LaRue; two daughters, Susen K. Hardin, Worthington, and Rebecca Ann'Hardin, Mount Victory; a brother, Russell L. Hardin, LaRue; two sisters, Helen J. Bauer and Martha Hardin, LaRue; and three granddaughters.
A brother and a grandson, Henry Hardin Harris, are deceased.
The service will be, 2 p.m. Thursday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Garver Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hardin County. Friends may call at the funeral  home any time after 2 p.m. Wednes- day. Memorial contributions may be  made to the Salvation Army.
