Leva Nichols, 79, 274 Marion St., Green Camp, died early this morning March 7, 1988 at the residence of her son, Charles D., with whom she made her home.
She was born in Glenn, W.Va., Aug. 18,1908, a daughter of Amos T. and Jane Abshire Evans.
A Green Camp resident since 1976, she moved there from Victor, W.Va. Her husband, David A. Nichols, whom she married Dec. 24,1929, died May 30,1975.
In addition to her son, Mrs. Nichols is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Wilda) Wilson, Brownsboro, Texas, Mrs. Mary Dye, Honaker, W.Va., and Mrs. Elizabeth Massie, Marion; two brothers, James F. Evans, Lizemores, W.Va., and Wilbur Evans, Bell, W.Va.; two sisters, Elva Mullins, Bell, W.Va., and Elizabeth Ashley, South Charleston, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
