Jan 20, 1989- A private service will be at Stof-check Funeral Home, LaRue, for Harold R. Rafferty, 70, 270 N. Mc-Cormick St., LaRue.
Mr. Raffert died unexpectedly Friday evening at Marion General Hospital. He was born April 7, 1918, in Catawba, a son. of Walter and Hattie Knox Rafferty. A retired hydrostatic tester with Columbia Gas, he was a member of the Marion County Steam and Gas Engine Society. Mr. Rafferty is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy A. Herron, whom he married June 30,1938. Also surviving are three sons, Jerald W. Rafferty, Danville, L. Michael Rafferty, Lima, and H. Jeffrey Rafferty, Mount Vernon; three daughters, Mrs. John (Rebecca) Slovenski, Mentor, Faye Rafferty, Endwell, N.Y., and Mrs. Richard (Roberta) McDonald, Marion; and 10 grandchildren.
