Feb 19, 1990 RICHWOOD — A funeral Mass for Lauretta Brown, 83, Hoskins Road, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, LaRue, with Father Dean Mathewson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call at Stofcheck Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Diabetes Association. Mrs. Brown died Thursday evening at Grady Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was bom here Feb. 2, 1907, the daughter of John A. and Margaret Rubeck Scharf. The homemaker was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Marion. She was a graduate of Richwood High School and Marion Business College. Her husband, Wayne E. Brown, whom she married April 1925, died in 1965. Surviving are a son, Paul Brown, Richwood; a daughter, Mrs. Hugh (Margaret) Ridge, Richwood; three granddaughters and a grandson; and eight great-grandchildren Two brothers and a great-grandchild are deceased.
