Alice Lucille Wittibslager, 77, 21 McCormick St., LaRue, died Monday morning March 8, 1990 at University Hospital, Columbus.
The native of Union County was bom May 1, 1912, a daughter of Edgar and Daisy Reece Hoffman. Mrs. Wittibslager was a home-maker and member of LaRue United Methodist Church. Her husband, Sterling C. Wittibslager, whom she married March 27, 1932, survives. Also surviving are a son, Gene Wittibslager, LaRue; two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Shirley) James and Mrs. William (Donna) Persinger, LaRue; two brothers, James Hoffman, York Center, and Paul Hoffman, Rich-wood; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Greenwood, Marion, Mrs. Wilson (Winefred) Blue, Mount Gilead, and Mrs. Robert (Jo) Heller, LaRue; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. A sister and a grandchild are deceased. The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. James Mason officiating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. and in the evening Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund of LaRue UM Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
