RICHWOOD — Betty J. Kirby, 63, died 4 p.m. Tuesday at Marion General Hospital following an illness.April 6 1990
She was bom July 2, 1926 in Rich-wood to the late George Sr. and Nina Mae (Wurtzbaugh) Kirby. She was formerly employed with Ranco, Delaware, a number of years. She is survived by four brothers, Leland Kirby, Marion; Jack Kirby, Richwood; Dick Kirby, Richwood; and Pete Kirby, Marion; two sisters, Marlene Mount, Marion; and Bonnie Cheney, Richwood. A brother and a sister are deceased. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Claibourne Cemetery with the Rev. Maynard Moser officiating. No calling hours will be observed Stofcheck Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Cancer Society or the Heart Fund.
