John W. Reynolds
RICHWOOD — John W. Reynolds, 71, West Liberty, died Saturday evening Sept 11, 1990 at Dayton VA Medical Center following an illness of five years.
Born in Marion, Oct. 29, 1918, he was the son of George C. and Vanessa Draper Reynolds.
He retired in 1984 from servingj with First Baptist Church, Downers  Grove, 111. In 1976 he founded the Lac du Flambeau Bible Church in northern Wisconsin, and he was active in the Rural Home Missionary Association there until 1979. Mr. Reynolds was a World War II veteran and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Bellefontaine.
On April 5, 1942, In Newport, Ky., he married the former Mary Fox, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Harry Reynolds, Lakeview, and Paul Reynolds, Marion; and a sister, Mrs. Ray (Clarice) Staten, Mansfield.
The service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church, Bellefontaine, with the Rev. Barry Grahl officiating. Burial will be in Claibourne Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church one hour before the service. Arrangements are being handled by Stofcheck Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lac du Flambeau Bible Church in care of the funeral home.
