Okland Wygal, 70, rural Richwood, died Friday evening Jan 25, 1991 at Marion General Hospital. The native of Union County was born Feb. 2, 1920, a son of Lewis and Ida HardinWygal. A farmer, Mr. Wygal had been employed also as a heavy equipment operator with the Union County Highway Department for 23 years.
Surviving are two sons, Edward L. Wygal, Marion, and Richard E. Wygal, Richwood; a sister, Mildred McCain, Edinboro, Pa.; and three grandchildren. Also surviving is his former wife, Carolyn Ankney. Two brothers, a sister and a grandchild are deceased. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday in LaRue Cemetery with Father Frederick Furey officiating. Friends may call at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, 4-8 pm. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Columbus.
