RICHWOOD - Jack George Kirby, 67, 24900 Ohio 37 W., died early this morning Jan 29, 1991 at his home.
The Richwood native was bom March 13, 1923, a son pf the late George Sr. and Nina Mae Wurtzbaugh Kirby. He was employed for more than 33 years with the Ohio Department of Transportation and since 1983 served there as administrative assistant,,.: Mr, Kirby, a World War II veteran, attended Central United Methodist Church and was a member of Waldo American Legion Post 605, Lakeview Amvets Post 39 and Delaware Moose Lodge 1167 and had been active in the Democratic Party. On Aug. 21, 1954, he married the former Veronna Stephens, and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Jack F. Kirby, Richwood; three daughters, Mrs. Robin (Judy) Anderson, Urbana, Mrs. Mark (Deborah) Naumann, Kirkwood, Mo, and Mrs. Howard (Sheila) Bradford, Richwood; three brothers, Leland Kirby and Kenneth ''Pete'' Kirby, Marion, and Dick Kirby, Richwood; two sisters, Mrs. Marlene Mount, Marion, and Mrs. Bonnie Cheney, Richwood; and eight. grandchildren. A sister is deceased, The service will be 11 am. Friday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Cheney officiating. Burial with graveside rites by Waldo Americna Legion will be in Caiboume Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 pm.. Thursday.
